Leadership Lewisville-Clemmons

Great for You and the Community

Leadership Lewisville-Clemmons is one of 1000+ community leadership programs throughout America. A community leadership program gives local residents and business leaders the opportunity to gain insights and understanding in how their local communities operate, the available resources, and fosters a sense of community pride and ownership.

Since launching in 2019, 80 individuals who share a love of community have graduated from Leadership Lewisville-Clemmons. Graduates are given access to 75+ local leaders and experts as they explore local government, economic development, and every-day topics such as community safety, education, employment, housing, health, and social / human services.

The program is offered every other year with an average class size of 20 - 28 people who have a vested interest in the success of Lewisville and Clemmons. Residency is not a requirement to be a part of the program.

Class meets monthly starting in February with graduation in October. Throughout the program, in addition to monthly class sessions, participants of Leadership Lewisville-Clemmons are assigned to small group projects to support a local non-profit.

Leadership Lewisville-Clemmons is offered on even years, with the next planned class in 2028. Program sign ups begin the summer prior to the next class. Check the Chamber’s calendar for class and sponsorship details. Leadership Lewisville-Clemmons is open to both Chamber members and not-yet-members.
